Panva Tirth

Shri Omkardham Tirth, Panva :

Shri Omkardham Tirth, Panva :

A TEMPLE THAT WELCOMES ALL — NO FAITH, CASTE, CREED OR STATUS REQUIRED

Temples are often seen as places where devotees seek atonement for their sins (paap) or aspire to accumulate spiritual merit (punya). Across India, millions visit shrines dedicated to Hindu deities or the sacred sites of their respective faiths, seeking inner purification and divine grace.

But nestled in the quiet village of Panva, about 100 km from Ahmedabad and near the renowned Dasada Wild Ass Sanctuary, stands a truly unique temple—Shri Omkardham Tirth.

Unlike most temples, this sacred site is not focused on cleansing one’s sins or earning spiritual rewards. Instead, it offers something equally profound yet rarely promised: a place where people pray to fulfill their material desires and find relief from physical suffering and distress.

It may sound unbelievable, but countless devotees vouch for its power. Shri Omkardham Tirth, home to idols of five deities, is said to be the only temple of its kind in the world, where prayers for worldly well-being are not only offered—but often answered.

The man behind this humongous effort is Omguru, an 80% disabled spiritual healer, who conceptualized and built this temple, solely to help human beings get respite from their sufferings and fulfil their desires.

HISTORY

In 1999, when Omguru had just begun on the path of human welfare, he met a saint who had profound knowledge of spirituality, religion and traditional Indian wisdom left behind by our ancient seers. Notably, this saint was not associated with any specific religion or sect.

Omguru narrated his spiritually enlightening experiences, which were no less than miracles in this kaliyug, when he stayed in the forests of Gujarat’s Dang district. X

After about a fortnight of regular interaction, the saint advised Omguru to build a site of worship and prayer at a place where Gods, especially Lord Krishna, had frequented thousands of years ago. He suggested that Omguru search for a place where Surya Vidantyadev, one of the revered Gods in Indralok, visited countless times.

Suryavidantya Dev: The Little-Known Divine Incarnation

Suryavidantya Dev is a lesser-known yet immensely powerful divine incarnation, often mistakenly identified with Surya Dev, the Sun God. However, while Surya Dev is revered as the celestial king, Suryavidantya Dev holds his own distinct identity—as the Yuvraj, or crowned prince, in the divine order of Indralok.

Just as humanity comprises diverse individuals, the realm of the gods is home to countless incarnations, each with unique roles and attributes. Among them, Suryavidantya Dev stands out as a formidable force of protection and command. He once served as the commander of the divine army during battles between gods and demons, displaying unparalleled valor and strategic prowess.

Such is the magnitude of his power that, to this day, no demon or alien force has succeeded in breaching the sanctity of Mother Earth. In essence,

he is revered as the “Divine Protector”—a sentinel against all cosmic threats.

Serving alongside him is Kshetrapal, whose name literally means “Protector of the Universe.” As Suryavidantya Dev’s trusted charioteer, Kshetrapal embodies vigilance and loyalty, guarding the territories entrusted to them with unwavering dedication.

This powerful duo continues to remain a symbol of divine guardianship—rarely spoken of, but eternally vigilant.

Divine Vision Behind Omkardham Tirth

In 2005, a revered saint, shortly before attaining moksha, advised Omguru to establish a sacred pilgrimage site—a spiritual sanctuary where people could seek relief from worldly troubles and physical suffering. A year later, on December 15, 2006, the same saint appeared in Omguru’s dream, urging him to complete the construction of this unique tirtha.

Despite severe physical pain and disability, Omguru embarked on this divine mission with unwavering determination. Guided by his profound mastery in ancient Indian sciences such as Aura Chakra Kundali, Aura Prashna Kundali, and Aura Vastu Kundali—all rooted in complex mathematical and spiritual calculations—he began searching for land once touched by the divine.

His spiritual research led him to two sacred corridors often graced by celestial beings: one stretching from Viramgam (Ahmedabad) to Radhanpur (Patan), and the other from Rajkot to Junagadh. Favoring proximity, he focused on the other from Rajkot to Junagadh.Favoring proximity, he focused on the Viramgam –

– Shankeshwar belt. After extensive exploration and scriptural analysis, Omguru identified Panva, a humble village, as the destined location.

It is believed that Lord Krishna himself had descended here on his Pushpak Viman to destroy the demonic energies of Jara Vidya of Jarasandh which used to live opponents unconscious. Indra Dev told Krishna is also said to have consecrated the idol of Parshwanath Bhagwan here. Moreover, Suryavidantya Dev, a powerful celestial incarnation, is believed to have visited Panva nearly 800–900 times.

Execution of the Divine Project

Once the sacred calculations confirmed Panva as the ideal site, Omguru acquired the land in 2007 at a price higher than market value, and construction began in 2009. Despite physical hardships, Omguru remained committed to every detail.

Before breaking ground, he sought divine permission from Suryavidantya Dev, who instructed him to install the idol of Kshetrapal Vir, a powerful protector deity believed to be from the same lineage as Sheshnag, the celestial serpent of Lord Vishnu.

After deep consultations with trustees and spiritual leaders, Omguru infused the land with divine mantras and pradam—spiritual energies that empower the land to fulfill desires and heal suffering. By 2015, Shri Omkardham Tirth was ready to welcome devotees.

The temple now houses sacred idols of:

"This is the only temple in the world where worldly desires are fulfilled and physical suffering is healed when prayers are offered with sincere devotion."

"Consider this temple a divine doctor—a spiritual panacea that heals and empowers. It exists solely to address your worldly challenges and physical distress."

I repeat that people from each and every faith, belief, religion, caste, colour, creed, and financial status can come to this temple.

— Omguru

This pilgrimage site is not for atonement of sins, not for earning punya, and not for the pursuit of moksha.

The Religious Significance of Omkar Dham

Omkar Dham is recognized as a holy pilgrimage site. It is believed that a pilgrimage to this sacred place grants both worldly happiness and spiritual upliftment.

This Tirth (pilgrimage) is deeply associated with the immense spiritual power of the 23rd Tirthankar, Lord Parshwanath. According to Jain scriptures, Chaturmas (four-month monsoon retreat) is the period when all celestial beings—deities and goddesses—descend to Earth and reside in such divine places, increasing the spiritual energy of the site.

Panch Kalyanak (the five auspicious life events of a Tirthankar) have been ceremoniously celebrated at this place. Through the power of mantras, pujas, and rituals performed here, several devotees have shared miraculous experiences, including relief from physical, mental, and spiritual suffering.

This sacred space has also been the site of many parna vidhi (rituals marking the end of fasting) by upvaasaks (devotees performing fasts) of up to 180 days. This includes several women and lay devotees who have observed long fasts with the help of divine blessings from Omkar Dham. Parna vidhi is performed with utmost sanctity and celebration, strengthening the spiritual resolve of the devotee.

The Dham also hosts regular Navkar Mantra Aradhana and Ayambil Tap (a special Jain fast). Thousands of people have benefited from the energy field of this sacred place. One can witness the inflow of positive vibrations from the moment they enter this Tirth. The experience of peace and devotion during darshan here is beyond words.

Even from a spiritual science perspective, Omkar Dham is a unique power zone. According to Jain beliefs, performing rituals at such places can neutralize bad karmas and fulfill inner desires. Pilgrims report a divine stillness here, which aids in meditation and concentration.

Every Thursday, special puja is performed in honor of Guru Bhagwan. Devotees often experience direct responses to their prayers during Guru Pujan. In the Guru Mandir, spiritual aspirants have reported miraculous changes in their life, and peace that surpasses understanding.

During Guru Purnima, thousands gather here for darshan and blessings. Devotees find solutions to personal, family, and emotional problems through divine interventions they experience at the site. Many also witness inner transformations after visiting.

Omkar Dham also regularly invites prominent Jain monks, spiritual teachers, and scholars for lectures, meditation, and discourse series. These events further elevate the spiritual environment of the Dham.

The Dham stands as a testimony to the divine grace of Lord Parshwanath and a living center of spiritual healing, prayer, and transformation.
